Batman: Arkham Knight promises to be a fitting end to RockSteady Studios’ Arkham series.

series. The developer has already created what many see as the definitive video game iteration of the Caped Crusader, with both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City earning acclaim from fans and critics alike. With the entirety of Gotham City to explore, and undeniably next-gen character models, there’s a reason why Batman: Arkham Knight remains one of the most highly anticipated new-gen titles.

Unfortunately for fans of the world’s greatest detective, the final part of the Arkham saga was one of the many titles pushed back to a 2015 release, joining the likes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Order: 1886 on the list of the biggest video game delays of 2014. It’s been bad news for all gamers, but a blow to those looking forward to the depth of plot and characterization in what may be the most impressive Rocksteady Studiostitle to date.

However, even though Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed, at least fans waiting for their Batman fix have another date to pencil in. Rocksteady has now given a new release date for the title. Batman: Arkham Knight will now be released on June 2, 2015. Not only that, but the developer and Warner Bros.have also revealed details about two Collector’s Editions of the game.
