With the beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division kicking off this weekend, Ubisoft is pressing forward with its marketing plan, revealing new information about The Division ’s Season Pass and future DLCs.

The Season Pass will come with three expansions: “Underground”, “Survival”, and “Last Stand”, each with its own unique addition to the ravaged streets of New York City. Additionally, the Season Pass will give The Divisio n players special monthly rewards beyond just the expansions.

For those not interested in picking up the Season Pass or DLCs, Ubisoft will still provide free content for all players, though there’s not yet any clear details on what that free content entails.

Bungie announced this week its new CEO is Pete Parsons, the developer’s former Chief Operating Officer. Parsons replaces Harold Ryan, who recently stepped down as the company’s President.

With many Destiny fans currently frustrated with the way Bungie is handling the game, and after rumors surfaced that Destiny 2 is delayed beyond its assumed September 2016 release, many are hoping the leadership change will bring positivity to the Destiny community. Parsons has shown his dedication to the company, and his passion for the Destiny community, so things are looking good so far, but that doesn’t mean fans will give the developer a break.

It’ll be interesting to see what direction Parsons takes Bungie, and how it affects the future of the Destiny franchise.

Bungie Inserts, Then Removes Skill-Based Matchmaking in Destiny

It’s common knowledge that many gamers have a strong distaste for skill-based matchmaking. Despite that, Bungie determined to silently insert skill-based matchmaking into Destiny . It didn’t take long for players to figure it out and unload on the developer.

One would have thought Bungie had learned from Treyarch’s experience just a few weeks ago, when that developer did the same thing with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 . But for whatever reason, Bungie decided to move forward with the plan, and is now working to revoke the skill-based matchmakingit inserted into Destiny .

While there may be some merits to skill-based matchmaking, especially for inexperienced players, there will always be a very loud group who fight against such inclusion. With that in mind, it’ll be interesting to see if developers continue their attempt to incorporate skill-based matchmaking, or if they allow the practice to die.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer Leaks; Reveals 4 Player Co-op - Shredder

Unfortunately for Platinum Games, it seems the developer can’t catch a break with its upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. After already experiencing leaks, another l eak happened this week showing a brief teaser trailerfor the game. To make matters worse, the leak happened just one day before the developer planned to do its official announcement of the game.

On a positive note, the game looks fun, especially since it will include four-player co-op. As the trailer shows, it borrows its artistic style from Borderlands , with colorful cel-shading. Also, the combat looks quite fun.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be available this summer for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
