As we begin a new year, it goes without saying that we’re excited for the lineup of games planned for 2016. As great as 2015 was for gaming, it looks like 2016 will be even bigger, with many original and compelling games set to arrive throughout the year.

The Far Cry series is known for its compelling storytelling, interesting characters, violent action, and occasional nudity. Naturally, gamers wouldn’t expect much of that to change in the upcoming Far Cry Primal , which has received a Mature ratingfrom the ESRB for violence, nudity, and sexual scenes.

Set at the beginning of the Mesolithic period, gamers will use arrows, spears, and clubs to kill enemies and animals in the harsh world. Additionally, gamers can expect to see dead bodies in various states of mutilation, along with topless female characters.

Far Cry Primal is expected to release on February 23, 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One, and March 1, 2016 for PC.

Fallout: New Vegas Completed in 20 Minutes

While many gamers are focused on Fallout 4 , one Fallout fan focused his efforts on Fallout: New Vegas , completing the game in an impressive 20 minutes and 47 seconds. The speed run was completed by a gamer known as Kungkobra, and represents a new world record for the game.

To do the run, Kungkobra created a character with high Charisma and Speech skills to talk his way through any situation. Additionally, he used a female character to take advantage of the Black Widow perk that opened extra dialogue options.

Besides the conversation skills, Kunkobra used a few other unique techniques to quickly cripple enemies and blast through the game. It’ll likely be a while before any other gamer breaks the new standing record.
