Bethesda releases another patch for the Fallout 4 PC beta update program aimed at performance enhancements, stability improvements, and preventing freezing at terminals.
Whilehas a number of glitches and bugs that some fans may be taking advantage of, Bethesda is working to patch the most egregious problems with the game by having created a beta program for PC playersto opt in to in order to get the latest fixes quickly. While the program kicked off just two weeks ago, Bethesda has already quickly got to work and released a couple of new updates for fans to test.
Just last week, Bethesda released the first Fallout 4 beta patch for memberswho have opted into the program on the PC and now a new beta patch has also launched. Known as version 1.2.37, this update features three fixes aimed at increasing performance and preventing players from getting stuck at terminals. Here are the patch notes:

As of now, PC and console players are still waiting to receive their first update while both patches continue testing from PC Beta members. Once Bethesda is satisfied with the testing process, the plan is to release the update to PC players, followed by both consoles. It is highly recommended that players who have opted in to this program back up their save files before installing it.
For better or for worse, many gamers expect Bethesda-created games to launch with certain glitches or bugs. Previous games, Fallout 3 and even The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim had issues at launch, and Fallout 4 follows suit. Some player-found glitches are fairly harmless such as using a duplication glitch that lets players max out their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. tree. Other resourceful players have even found a way to nab the Cryolator gunlocked away behind a master level lock at the beginning of the game in Vault 111.
Unfortunately for others, bigger issues have cropped up that does ruin the experience for the player. Recently, gamers have been reporting a random bug that distorts the vision of the player, making the world appear blurry and essentially unplayable. At this time, players have not been able to discover a workaround, as going back to an earlier save is the only way to correct the behavior. This isn’t the first reported major issue with the game as a game breaking bug tied to a major questat Mosignor Plaza has a good chance to crash the game without any sort of warning or error appearing.
