Titanfall: Frontier’s Edge DLC Announced

Sherman Oaks, California based developer Respawn Entertainment announced the launch of a new DLC pack for their first person shooter Titanfall via the game’s official website.

The upgrade, known as Frontier’s Edge , adds three new maps to Titanfall’s multiplayer mode. Frontier’s Edge is the second of three currently planned DLC packages to be released for the game since its launch in early 2014.

Frontier’s Edge , much like its predecessor, Expedition, allows players to utilize a set of three new maps in multiplayer matches. The first to be introduced by Frontier’s Edge is Dig Site, an isolated, abandoned mining facility featuring lots of small, cramped buildings and narrow corridors in the bottom of a massive strip mine. The second map, Export, is also uses the mining facility theme, however it takes place on a rocky cliff side, offering players lots of opportunities for vertical movement and combat. Breaking from this pattern is Haven, the third and final map, which takes the form of an interstellar resort located on a picturesque beach. In addition to a relaxing, tranquil atmosphere, Haven offers players plenty of open space to fight in and a number of hiding spots for long-ranged marksmen around the perimeter.
