Crytek Approves ‘Crysis’ Kickstarter Board Game
Sometimes gamers want to skip the console and play a game on tabletop. Now, thanks to Frame6,fans will have an opportunity to play the sci-fi shooter as a board game. The game, called Crysis Analogue Edition — The Board Game , is moving forward with the full approval of Crytek, the game developer behind the Crysis video games.
As of this writing, the Kickstarter campaignhas received just over 30 percent of its $94,851 goal with 19 days left in the campaign. The game is designed for two to eight players and includes two different modes of play. The above video provides additional information about how the game works.

Oculus Rift Mac and Linux Development Delayed
In the world of video games, virtual reality seems like the next big thing, and Oculus Riftis looking to grab as much of the market as possible when it launches early next year. However, it looks like that won’t include Mac or Linux, as least for a while. The Chief Architect at Oculus, Atman Binstock, announced that the company is halting development on Mac and Linux versions of the Virtual Reality headset for now.
Binstock provided some thoughts on the company’s blog about the decision:
Our development for OS X and Linux has been paused in order to focus on delivering a high quality consumer-level VR experience at launch across hardware, software, and content on Windows. We want to get back to development for OS X and Linux but we don’t have a timeline.

‘Pac-Man 256’ Announced
Developers Bandai Namco Studios Vancouver and Hipster Whale are working on a new mobile Pac-Man gamethat pays homage to the original Pac-Man ’s infamous 256 glitch. In the original Pac-Man , when players made it to level 256, they encountered a glitch that caused half the screen to become a wonky mess. In this new game, called Pac-Man 256 , players are chased by the 256 glitch through an endless maze.
Hipster Whale Director, Matthew Hall, shared his vision for the upcoming game:
“Playing PAC-MAN in a seaside arcade in 1980 is one of my earliest memories. It is an incredible honor to be able to contribute to one of the most iconic video game franchises in history. Our game, PAC-MAN 256 , takes the infamous ‘glitch’ level of PAC-MAN and builds upon this to become a unique game that retains the retro spirit of the original.”
Pac-Man 256 is set to release this summer for mobile and tablet.

‘Lords of the Fallen’ Game of the Year Edition Announced
The challenging third-person RPG game,, is getting a Game of the Year Edition next month that includes the original game, along with the Ancient Labyrinth DLC, the Demonic Weapons and Lionheart Packs, some new weapons and armor, and more.
Many gamers have compared Lords of the Fallen toin terms of level design and difficulty, and the game received strong reviews from both critics and gamers. The game did so well, in fact, that a sequel is already in development.
Lords of the Fallen: Game of the Year Edition will release on June 26, 2015 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
‘QUBE: Director’s Cut’ Coming to Consoles this Summer
QUBE , the first-person puzzle game, is coming to PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U sometime this summer.
In QUBE , players find themselves on a mysterious spaceship, where they must use special powers to manipulate blocks and physics in order to find their way out.
The console version will include everything from the PC version, along with some new extras, including 10 new levels and a new soundtrack. Developer Toxic Games has not provided a specific release date yet.
‘Mega Man’ Games Launching on Current-Gen Consoles
It’s a good month forfans. Mega Man Zero 2 is now available on Wii U Virtual Console, and Mega Man 8 is coming to PlayStation Network next week.
Gamers can pick up Mega Man Zero 2 now on Wii U for $7.99. No price has been set yet for Mega Man 8 on PSN.
