Summer of Arcade Line Up Dated and Priced

0
We previously discussed the great titles upcoming for Microsoft’s annual Summer of Arcade here .

. Well, those games have finally been dated as well as priced, and it’s about freaking time. Last year’s Summer of Arcade saw some pretty awesome titles released to the masses via the Xbox Live Marketplace and this year will be no exception. The lineup looks pretty awesome, and although it lacks Ninja Turtles and Crashers of Castles, it still looks to be a pretty fun (and expensive) time.

Just like last year, there will be a bonus to those who purchase all of the titles, which basically translates to: buy four, get one free. There will also be a bonus offer to those who like not being broke: if you buy three of the Summer of Arcade games you will receive a 400 Point rebate.

Not a terrible deal, but you can check out the Summer of Arcade lineup to see if it tickles your fancy, just below.

Limbo , July 21st

Hydro Thunder Hurricane , July 28th

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair , August 4th

Monday Night Combat , August 11th

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light , August 18th

Microsoft has already started hyping the upcoming “event” with a pretty bad-ass trailer that I’m sure will get you hyped too.

I don’t believe that Lara Croft has starred in a good video game since the PlayStation 1 era, but I guess we will have to wait and see how her latest adventure turns out (you can see a full trailer for this game here). Other than that, I’m sure that the Summer of Arcade lineup will not disappoint anyone except for your wallet, because 1,200 Points translates to $15 a pop…LAME.

The Summer of Arcade excitement starts July 21st with Limbo , so be ready.

What do you think of the games included in this year’s Summer of Arcade? Will you be picking up any of them?
