Two Worlds 3 Announced, Two Worlds 2 Getting Major Story Update Six Years After Release

What a time to be an old game. It seems every other week we’re getting news of a different game getting a patch or update. First it was Diablo 2 getting its first content patch in sixteen years, then Blizzard’s other title Warcraft 3got an update that fixed various bugs and issues. Where those two differ from the latest game to be brought back into the spotlight is that Two Worlds 2 is getting a pretty hefty story update along with new multiplayer maps.

The announcement was made on the DLC’s website, which gave some information on what players can expect from the DLC. The first is called Call of the Tenebrae and revolves “the Hero’s return to Antaloor, where he witnesses the shocking murder of DarPha.” The Hero will have to face an unknown race of human/rat creatures called “The Chosen”. Looking at the blurb on the website players can look forward to hours of questing, all new villains and bosses along with new weapons and armor to fight them. Among the changes coming to the game is a revamped alchemy, a new soundtrack, and new enemy tactics. As for the second DLC, called Shattered Embrace , as of right now, the only information provided was the name.
